About the Journal

Transkomunika Journal of Culture and Tourism (TJCT) is a biannual, peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal that publishes high-quality research and critical studies in the fields of culture, communication, and tourism. The journal provides an interdisciplinary platform for scholars, practitioners, and researchers to exchange ideas, perspectives, and empirical findings on how cultural values, traditions, and communication practices influence and interact with the tourism industry.

Published in May and November, TJCT welcomes articles addressing topics such as cultural heritage and preservation, intercultural communication in tourism, sustainable tourism development, cultural identity and globalization, tourism linguistics, destination image and branding, digital culture in tourism promotion, and the role of language and translation in tourism.
